The study entitled ‘The effect of inventory management on working capital of
KAMCO Ltd. was undertaken with the objective to study the efficiency of inventory
management followed by the institution. Both primary and secondary data were used
for the study. Primary information regarding the inventory management policies of
the KAMCO were collected from the concerned officials. Secondary data regarding
the financial parameters were collected from the monthly reports and accounts of
KAMCO from 2011-12 to 2015-16. The effect of inventory management on working
capital of KAMCO was examined with the help of different statistical tools like ratio,
index, percentage analysis, annual average growth rate, compound average growth
rate, and correlation.
