Abstract | Employee satisfaction is the terminology used to describe whether employees are happy, contended and fulfilling their desires and needs at work. Many measures support that employee satisfaction is a factor in employee motivation, employee goal achievement and positive employee morale in the work place. Basically Employee satisfaction is a measure of how happy workers are with their job and working environment. So it is clear that employee satisfaction is a critical factor determining job performance and leading to employee morale and determines the success of the every organisation. The study is attempted on satisfaction of employees on Kerala feeds Ltd with the following objectives: To analyze the performance of employees in terms of the policies and measures of the organization 2. To show the major factors which have significant impact in the employees satisfaction of the organisation 3. To assess the level of satisfaction of employees Design of the study given in the first chapter clearly reveals the evidence of employee satisfaction in the success of an organisation. The second chapter, which examined the profile of Kerala Feeds Ltd shows that institution has made a reputation in kerala and in the cattle feed industry with in a short span of time. It is a successful organisation in the public sector and has achieved steady increase steady increase in sales turnover. The third chapter was attempted to analyse the employees satisfaction in a similar line as is specified in the methodology. The level of satisfaction is analysed in order to find out the major areas of discontent, which adversely affect the employees and the organisation as a whole. This chapter presents discussion of results presented in chapter four and the conclusions made thereof.
