ABSTRACT Present project on impact of different irrigation and fertigation levels on the performance of cowpea under polyhouse was carried out in the instructional farm of KCAET Tavanur. The main objectives of the project were to study the effect of climatic conditions such as temperature and humidity on cowpea inside polyhouse and also to compare the effect of different fertigation and irrigation treatments on the yield and growth parameters of cowpea under polyhouse. The experiment had four treatments consisting of combinations of two irrigation levels and two fertigation levels with five replications. The maximum yield was obtained for the treatment having daily irrigation and fertigation in four days(T2). The minimum yield was obtained for the treatment having alternate day C and alternate day fertigation(T3). By the statistical analysis it was observed that irrigation had significant effect in the yield of cowpea.
