The study revealed that pest attack by tea mosquito bug and thrips on cashew not only caused considerable reduction in the size of nuts and kernels but also resulted in low white whole recovery, more kernel pieces and rejects. The sugars, carbohydrates and proteins were low in kernels of attacked nuts, while the fat content did not vary significantly.en_US
