| Abstract: | The study was done in the topic of procurement and distribution Channel of Elite supermarket in Thrissur district. This study helped to find the procurement pattern of perishable food products from the suppliers and distribution channel of the products to the ultimate customers. Supply chain management helps to reduce the product losses in transportation and storage and increases the sales of the organization. It ensures the product safety and quality. The study was based on the primary data collected. The primary data were generated from the suppliers and customers through a structured questionnaire and also interviews were conducted with the higher officials. |
