Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) Central Library and College of Horticulture (CoH) is jointly organizing National Book Festival 2015 during 19-21 November 2015 at the University Central Library, Vellanikkara.
Printed as well as electronic books in all subjects like agriculture, science and technology, education, health, literature, linguistics, entertainment, cinema etc. and e-book readers, other digital reading gadgets and related instruments will be displayed. National and International publishers, distributors, writers and other agencies will participate in the Festival.
Students, teachers, scientists, farmers and public can acquire books to their personal collection at a discount of 15-50%. They can also suggest books to the college and university libraries. Other three colleges in the KAU Main Campus, College of Forestry (Co F), College of Co-operation, Banking & Management (CCBM) and Academy of Climate Change Education and Research (ACCER) are also directly participating in the festival.
The festival begins on 19th November 2015, Thursday, at 9.30 am and the formal inauguration will be held at 4 pm on the same day. A new book, "Digital Library Development and Services" edited by
Dr. A.T. Francis and Dr. Susan Mathew and published by Daya - Astral Publishers, New Delhi will be released during the occasion.
