dc.description.abstract A quantitative analysis of the linear morphological parameters and their relationship with average monthly monsoon discharge was conducted using the data collected from the Water Resources Divisional Office, Trichur. Most of the parameters were inter-related and obeyed Morton's laws. The smallest tributaries formed the major part of the river basin. The stream flow during the periods 1976-'80 and 1981-'85 varied with the basin shape. en_US
