dc.description.abstract Studies on the pollen storage of four banana clones showed that the pollen viability could be maintained for the maximum period of 24 to 38 days, depending upon the clones, when the bracts with flowers intact were stored in the refrigerator (4"C). The clone Bodies Altafort exhibited the maximum storage life and the least rate of reduction of viability while Hybrid Sawai had the minimum storage life and maximum rate of reduction of viability. en_US
