Planting time had significant influence on the number of leaves per plant, leaf width, total leaf area and rhizome yields. Mother rhizome planted during the third week of May was significantly superior to other treatments with respect to rhizome and oleoresin yields. A net income of Rs. 4,316.00 per hectare could be obtained from the crop planted on 3rd week of May using mother rhizomes. en_US
