Abstract:

practising rice farmers selected at random formed the respondents for
this study. 'F' test was employed to test the significance of the difference
of the mean scores of the various characteristics in the two samples. The
study revealed that the participants of F. F, L. P. were having higher social
participation, more knowledge about improved rice practices and higher use
of mass media as compared to the non- participants. Iriter-peisona! locaVrte
