dc.description.abstract Breeding of cashew was undertaken at the Cashew Research Station at Kottarakara and Anakkayam in Kerala during the period 1963 to 1973 and 216 hybrid progenies from 28 parental combinations were produced. From studies conducted so far on the hybrids planted during 1963 and 1964, two hybrid H-3-17 and H-4-7 were selected as promising for large scale cultivation under Kerala conditions. en_US
