dc.description.abstract The log-normal model is fitted to data on production of crops namely rice, tapioca, coconut, arecanut, pepper, tea, coffee, rubber and cashewnut in Kerala, for the period 1952-53 to 1973-74, except for tapioca for which data for the period 1963-64 to 1973-74 only have been utilised. It is found that the models give satisfactory fit to the data. Estimates of production for the period 1975-76 to 1977-78 have been obtained using these models. en_US
