New records and new host records of some brachymeria species (hymenoptera : chalcididae)

Abstract

Five species of Brachymeria viz. B- (Neobrachymeria^ nosatoi H , B. (B ) gitantica J. et al» B (B,) me&aspila (C.\ B. (B-> a\bottbialis (A.) and B (B. excarnata G. are reported for the first time from New Guinea (Austaralian realm and from five different new hosts. Another species vix. B- (B.) amphissa iW.) is reported for the first time from the host An.iphaeis aurota aurota (Pieridae) from India.
