dc.description.abstract The detailed soil survey of Manalur Village representing the 'kole' area of Trichur district was carried out. Three soil series viz. Konchira, Perumpuzha and Anthikad were identified. The morphological features, chemioal and physical characteristics and irrigability classification are discussed. A soil and land irrigability map of the village indicating the distribution of soils end the irrigability classes has been prepared. en_US
