Kerala Agricultural University (KAU)'s National Book Festival 2016 is organized during 19-21 December 2016 at the KAU Central Library (KAUCL), Vellanikkara.

Kerala Agricultural University (KAU)'s National Book Festival 2016 is organized during 19-21 December 2016 at the KAU Central Library (KAUCL), Vellanikkara.
The Festival is jointly organised by College of Horticulture (CoH) and KAUCL in collaboration with College of Forestry (CoF), College of Co-op., Banking & Management (CCBM), Academy of Climate Change Education and Research (ACCER)and KAU School.
Printed as well as electronic books in all subject’s like agriculture, science and technology, education, health, literature, linguistics, entertainment, cinema etc. and e-book readers, other digital reading gadgets and related instruments will be displayed in the exhibition.
National and International publishers, distributors, writers and other agencies will participate in the Festival. Students, teachers, scientists, farmers and public can acquire books to their personal collection at a discount of
15-50%. They can also suggest books to the college and university libraries.
The festival begins on 19th December 2016, Monday, at 9.30 am and the formal inauguration will be held at 4 pm on the same day. A new book, "Climate change
and Plantations in the Humid Tropics", authored by Dr. GSHLV Prasada Rao and Dr. C. S. Gopakumar and published by NIPA, New Delhi will be released during the occasion.
