Item Occurrence of thaia subrufa moptschulsky (Homoptera : Cicadellidae) as a pest of rice(Kerala Agricultural University, 1993) Prathapan, K DItem Effect of application of magnesium and sulphur on the growth, yield and uptake in rice(Kerala Agricultural University, 1993) Muralidharan, P; Jose, A IA field experiment was conducted to study the response of rice to application of magnesium and sulphur in a typical laterite soil, using rice (variety Jyothi) continuously for two seasons. Application of Mg had no influence either on the yield or uptake by the crop. Treatment receiving the application of sulphurbiologically activated by inoculation with Thiobacillus sp. and Aspergillus avomerii gave the maximum straw yield in both seasons of crop and thus a higher total dry matter yield, indicating its influence on the vegetative growth of the crop. While lack of influence of Mg application on the con tent of exchangeable Mg in soil was revealed, application of biologically activated sulphur was found to ensure continued availability of S throughout crop growth.Item Transplanting rice by broadcasting seedlings(Kerala Agricultural University, 1993) Abraham Varughese; Nair, S S; Pillai, K BItem Effect of organic manure and inorganic fertilizers on the disease incidence in rice(Kerala Agricultural University, 1993) Abraham Varughese; Padmakumari, GItem Performance of some fodder legumes in rice fallows(Kerala Agricultural University, 1993) Meera V Menon; Achuthan Nair, MItem Economics of phosphorus management in a rice based cropping system(Kerala Agricultural University, 1994) Sasidhar, V K; Annamma GeorgeItem Balance sheet of available phosphorus in rice based cropping systems by phosphorus management(Kerala Agricultural University, 1994) Annamma George; Sasidhar, V KItem Pigmented high yielding genotypes for wild rice infested wet lands(Kerala Agricultural University, 1994) Rosamma, C A; Elsy, C RItem Breeding for photosensitive high yielding rice variety(Kerala Agricultural University, 1994) Rosamma, C A; Elsy, C RAn ideal rice variety with high gram and straw yield, adaptability to the rabi season and consumer preference was evolved at the Regional Agricultural Research Station, i'attambi from the cross between Co 25, Triveni and Vellathil Kolappala. This variety called Niln (Ptb 48) combines in itself high grain and straw yield under average management conditions, adaptability to the season and tolerance to most of the pests and diseases.Item Nutrient requirement of rice under Koottumundakan system(Kerala Agricultural University, 1994) Bridgit, T K; Jose Mathew; Kamalam Joseph
