Item Effect of different levels of nitrogen and phosphorus on the uptake of phosphorus by rice variety - triveni(Kerala Agricultural University, 1974) Alexander, K M; Sadanandan, N; Sasidhar, V KA field experiment was undertaken during the third crop season of 1971 to study the effect of different levels of nitrogen and phosphorus on the uptake of phosphorus by the rice variety 'Triveni'. It was found that with increasing levels of nitrogen, the total uptake of phosphorus increased during all the growth stages of the crop. Similarly nitrogen phosphorus interaction significantly increased the phosphorus uptake at harvest. Different levels of phosphorus had no significant effect on the uptake of phosphorus during any of the growth stages of the crop.Item Studies on the response of rice variety triveni to phosphorus application(Kerala Agricultural University, 1976) Sadanandan, N; Sasidhar, V KItem Response of mahsuri to major nutrients and schedule of nitrogen application(Kerala Agricultural University, 1992) Savithri, K E; Janardhanan Pillai, S; Chidananda Pillai, M R; Tomy, P JExperiments conducted at the Regional Agricultural Research Station, Pattambi during the three consecutive wet seasons from 1982-83 to 1984-85 revealed that under transplanted condition, a fertilizer dose of 50:25:25 kg NPK/ha is sufficient for Mahsuri. The best schedule of application of nitrogen is 50% as basal, 25% at 40 DAT and the remaining 25% at 60 DAT.Item Relative susceptibility of the rice variety 'Rohini' grown under different levels of nitrogen, to the storage pests(Kerala Agricultural University, 1973) Saradamma, K; Sasidharan Pillai, K; Das, N M
