Living a drug-free life. Showing my friends that a drug-free life is more fun. Learning more about how drugs really harm people. Telling people the truth about the harmful effects of drugs. Working with others to help spread the truth about drugs so together we create a drug-free community
Description
As part of the ‘Drug free India’, a campaign by the Art of Living Foundation, students responded to a live webcast beamed across the country by vowing to keep their campuses free from drugs, tobacco and alcohol, apart from volunteering to eradicate drug abuse. Students were told drug abuse was rampant among 80% youth in Haryana and 75% youth in Punjab. According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), 30% of Indians consume alcohol regularly.
